The Jason Kiley and Nik Botkin Art Exhibit is now showing at the Glenville State College Fine Arts Building and everyone is invited to view the amazing works of these two artists. On Wednesday evening, the Glenville State College Theatre group opened “The Apple Tree”, a musical comedy play that features three different stories in on whole play: a retelling of the story of Adam and Eve, a story of a jealous lover who tries to keep her husband, and finally a 60s version of the classical tale of Cinderella. Glenville State College is accepting entries for the Fourth Annual Pioneer Showcase. Entries for the showcase can include research in the arts and sciences as well as creative arts projects such as poetry, fiction writing, visual arts and even theatrical and performance arts. The deadline for the abstracts is March 5. The showcase is going to be held on April 22, as those who have entered will need to prepare a presentation of their work and/or research. New Art Exhibit Begins Monday

Glenville State College will be hosting a new art show that will be featuring great artworks of Jason Kiley and Nik Botkin and everyone is invited to view the amazing works of these two artists. The exhibit will begin next week, running from February 10 to March 7, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. with a reception of the works on February 17 from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. Refreshments will be provided during the reception and everyone is welcome to check out the ceramics and paintings provided. Modern Future

The art exhibit featured at Glenville State College will still be going on until February 8 as everyone is welcome to few the many amazing and brilliant works of Liza Brenner, Duane Chapman, and Chris Cosner featured in the exhibit. Student Organizations Show What They’re Made Of

Glenville State College organizations will be strutting their stuff in  a fair and talent show on Monday, January 27. The fair will be held from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the Rusty Musket. Campus organizations will have tables presenting information about their missions and activities. At 7 that evening, the organizations will present a talent show geared to show their strengths. On a crisp spring morning in 1979, amid the bustle of academics and the chiming of bells from the Administration Building, Glenville State students and faculty collaborated to produce an idea, forever marking student work imaginative and astute. Faculty Show Returns to Fine Arts

The first Art Faculty Show in more than 15 years features the work of several members of the Fine Arts Faculty. Artists featured in the show, which runs through February 7, are professors Liza Brenner, Duane Chapman, and Chris Cosner.
