The Pioneer Football team finally got that win on Saturday, October 11 at their homecoming game against the University of Charleston. The ever-so-popular Rusty Musket has recently undergone some changes. The corner that used to be home to the Science Fiction and Fantasy Guild has gained some pool tables for student entertainment.  For Glenville State College, the week of October 6-11 was homecoming week and all of campus was glowing, literally. Many students around this campus say that there is nothing ever fun or exciting to do on campus, but together SGA and Student Activities worked to make sure that changed.   On Thursday, October 9 GSC and the Campus Dining Service Aramark hosted the twice annual campus picnic in conjunction with Homecoming. It was held in the Luanna T. Pioneer Football Scores Win Against Urbana

The Pioneer football team claimed their first win of the 2014 season against Urbana with a score of 31-28. In the first half, Urbana was the first one to put a score on the board with a one yard run making the starting score 0-7. But soon after, Glenville’s Dante Absher caught a 20 yard pass that led to their first touchdown, making the score tied at 7-7. Glenville State Announces Study Abroad Trip to London

On May 15-23, 2015 Glenville State College and Dr. Sallie Anglin, assistant professor of English will be taking a study trip abroad to England. Students must have taken a 200 level or higher English course in order to be able to go, which they are able to take in the spring. Glenville State College football played against Fairmont State University on Saturday 20 in the annual battle of the bit. The Falcons started off the game with the first touch-down making the starting score 24-0. On Thursday September 18, Glenville State College and Pi Gamma Mu, an international honor society for the social sciences, hosted the annual Constitution Day program.
