Everyone’s most feared and favorite since the fourth grade is back at Glenville State College. That’s right, dodge ball is back and you better be quick on your feet. GSC’s Relay for Life team has planned and will host a dodge ball tournament next week in order to raise money for the American Cancer Society to help find a cure for cancer and aide in preventative measures for the diseases. Everyone is welcome to participate in the tournament or support their favorite teams in the stands. Those who participate will be put into different teams of six people of students, faculty and staff members. The Relay for Life team would also like the teams to choose a country for their team name. The rules for the tournament will be explained at the start of the tournament. Team sign-ups will be as followed:
- Thursday, March 21 from 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Monday, March 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Tuesday, March 26 from 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
This event is on Tuesday, March 26 at 7 p.m. at the Lily Gymnasium at the PE Building just above the Mollohan Center. For more information or sign up for a team, you can ask Katie Morris via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org. A wise man once said: DUCK!
