Carly Caldon is a Glenville State College student who teaches yoga every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and Pilates every Tuesday and Thursday from 12:15-12:45. Yoga is a series of exercises to help attain physical and mental control. Pilates is a series of exercises to help with flexibility, balance, and strength. Caldon is a softball player and cross-country runner. She loves both teaching and taking fitness classes.
Professor Anglin also teaches an all-level yoga class every Wednesday from 6-7:30 p.m. It is a vinyasa class, which means moving with your breath. Professor Anglin has a 230 hour certification from the Ashville Yoga Center in Ashville, North Carolina. She has been practicing yoga for ten years and has been teaching it for six years. This is her first year at Glenville State College where she teaches English.
There is also a Boxing Club Tuesday and Friday from 6-8 p.m and on Wednesday and Thursday from 4-6 p.m., and a Karate class on Monday from 5:30 p.m.-8 p.m.
