N’TRANZE, a band originating from Myrtle Beach, began as the Tony Blunt Project in 1997. The House of Blues opened in 1997 and the Tony Blunt Project was hired to play on the back porch. Around 2000, Tony Blunt left the band to go on the road and the band became N’TRANZE. There are currently six people in the band including a guitar player, trombone player, keyboard, drums, bass, and our own Jason Barr as the sax player.
The show begins tonight at 7 p.m. today, October 17. The show includes a variety of music ranging from Rock, Dance, Funk, R&B, Jazz, Blues, and more. The show is expected to last until 9 p.m. Then, if you missed it the first time, N’TRANZE is playing again at the Pioneer Grille on Friday night at 7 p.m.
