The Phoenix (formerly The Mercury) is the student newspaper of Glenville State College. It is published on line every Thursday, and in print editions three times per semester. Only college students write and contribute to the newspaper.

We are always looking for reporters, editors, photographers,amd  graphic designers. We are also looking for students interested in doing advertising sales and development.

To work for The Phoenix, you can sign up for the campus newspaper class, listed in the course catalog under Journalism, or talk with the editor about contributing articles.
