Pioneer Village Brochure Printable Version
Pioneer Village is Glenville State College's
newest Residential Living Facility. Located on
Mineral Road across from Eberle Hall, Pioneer
Village features 10 Town House style buildings,
called houses, for student occupancy. Pioneer
Village opened its doors in October of 2001.
Nine of the buildings house 16 students and the
tenth building house 12 students and the Resident
Director. Also located in the Main Building are
amenities such as Laundry Facilities, vending, a
small conference room and a large open meeting room.
There are four apartments in each building. Each
apartment consists of a large living room/commons
area, a kitchen area with full refrigerator and
microwave, two full bathrooms and four single
occupancy bedrooms. Each bedroom will contain a
single twin sized bed, a desk with a desk chair, and
a chest of drawers. Each bedroom is also wired for
cable and telephone access.
Pioneer Village is the first West Virginia
student-housing complex to incorporate full
suppression sprinkler systems in all of its
buildings. In addition to the full suppression
sprinkler system, each building located in Pioneer
Village also contains a port for every pillow that
makes the access of Internet virtuously effortless.
GSC has instituted a selection process for people
who would like to stay in Pioneer Village; all you
have to do is stop in the Office of Student Life for
a housing application or feel free to fill out the
application online. Hope to see you here |
