State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement

State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement

Glenville State College is a member of the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA). SARA allows students to take online courses offered by post-secondary institutions located in a different state. It is not mandatory that Glenville State College be a member of SARA. However, by doing so Glenville is able to offer online courses to students who live outside West Virginia without reciprocity agreements with the state in which the student resides. As a student, if you would like to file a complaint regarding a SARA issue please contact the Online Coordinator at Glenville State College:

A complaint can be made in person or via email. Please be as descriptive as possible. Glenville State College will work to ratify the situation. If the online coordinator can not establish a remedy within 30 working days of the initial notification, you may submit a complaint to the Community and Technical College System of WV by clicking here. For more information on the complaint process click here. The West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission is the state portal for SARA, to learn more click here.
