Student Support Services is a federally funded TRiO program designed to help students succeed in college. By utilizing a $231,526 TRiO grant procured from the U.S. Department of education, Glenville State College and the Student Support Services (SSS) program are developing supplemental educational and cultural activities that will assist students with earning their baccalaureate degree. The SSS program supports GSC as a student-centered environment by providing individualized services to students.
Each year, the GSC Student Support Services program serves 160 qualified students in accordance with the U.S. Department of Education’s guidelines. Participants must be either first-generation, income eligible, or have a documented learning or physical disability.
