I picked GSC because it was a good place to continue my football career and education.

High School students have the opportunity to take college classes while still in high school.

Outstanding high school juniors and seniors may be admitted as "high school early admissions students" either for the regular academic year or summer session. Students may qualify with a high school grade point average of 3.0 or better, as certified by the designated high school official.

This fall semester, Off Campus Programming is serving the needs of 185 high school students who are taking college classes as Early Entrance Students. There are 24 classes being offered in Calhoun, Gilmer, Braxton, and Nicholas County high schools, as well as at Liberty High School in Raleigh County. During the spring semesters, additional courses are offered in Ritchie and Roane counties.

For more information and to view the forms, please see our Pioneer Early Entrance Progam link.
