The Glenville State College Athletic Department has announced the rescheduling of the Pioneer football game with Fairmont State University. The contest was originally scheduled for Saturday, September 27th at 1:00 p.m., but has been moved to avoid a conflict with the Marshall University at West Virginia University game on the same day. The Pioneers will now host Fairmont State University on Thursday, September 25th at 7:00 p.m. at Morris Stadium in Glenville. This change will allow GSC fans to attend the annual battle with the rival Falcons, and still be able to enjoy the game between the Mountaineers and the Thundering Herd.
This will be the second Thursday night game for GSC on the 2008 schedule. The pioneers open the season at Lock Haven University in Pennsylvania, on Thursday, August 28th at 7:00 p.m.
All Glenville State College football games can be heard live on WAFD 100.3 FM, or online at www.gscpioneers.com.
