Glenville, WV – Glenville State College is the host of the September Glenville Business After Five meeting scheduled for Thursday, September 27th. The meeting will take place at the Morris Criminal Justice Training Center located on U.S. Route Five near the Gilmer County Volunteer Fire Department Station One. A reception will start at 5:00 p.m. Presentations by GSC President Dr. Peter Barr and GSC Center for Criminal Justice Studies Director Ron Taylor will begin at 5:30 p.m.
“If you haven’t had the chance, this is the perfect opportunity to visit the Morris Criminal Justice Center while also learning what other exciting things are taking place at Glenville State College,” said Barr.
“This Business After Five meeting will be a good occasion for local residents to learn more about the Center for Criminal Justice Studies and the programs we are planning to offer to law enforcement, corrections, and educators. We already have college classes held at the facility and have presented a ‘Combating Teen Bullying’ workshop to educators from around the state,” said Taylor.
The local Business After Five meetings take place every third Thursday of each month and showcase the accomplishments and offerings of Gilmer County businesses.
