Glenville, WV – The Glenville State Lady Pioneers volleyball team defeated WVIAC Conference opponent Bluefield State Friday night 3-0.
The Lady Pioneers took set one by a score of 25-11. In set two it was all Pioneers as they won set two 25-8. In set three Bluefield State made a late run but GSC finished them off, as they took it 25-18.
GSC was led by Dejana Ludoski with 13 kills and Ella Messinger chipped in with 8 kills.
Freshman Kaci Sullivan had 10 assists on the night while Stefanie Gladders led the team with 14 assists.
Rachel Morris and Dejana Ludoski both had 5 serve aces in the game, while Ella Messinger had 2.
Kaci Sullivan led GSC in digs with 6 while Rachel Morris had 4 on the night.
Bluefield State was led by Kendria Perkins with 5 kills and Courtney Bowlus led the team with 8 assists.
The Lady Pioneers return to action next Wednesday, October 17th when Davis & Elkins travels to Glenville. Game time is set for 7:00 pm.
