His debut novel, Prague Summer, will be published by Counterpoint in the spring of 2014.  Condran’s fiction has appeared in journals such as The Kenyon Review and The Missouri Review.  His work has been awarded the 2010 William Peden Prize and Pushcart Prize nominations.  He is an Assistant Professor of English at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and the co-founder of Braddock Avenue Books.

There will be an open mic on Wednesday, November 20th at 5:00 p.m. in the GSC Rusty Musket for those who would like to participate and share their works.

Writers Scott McClanahan and William Boyle, who had been scheduled for the November 7th reading event, have cancelled due to illness. They both plan to reschedule their visits during the spring 2014 semester.
