Mallory Named to Daktronics NCAA Division II Atlantic Region Men’s Basketball All-Region Team

Glenville State’s Lamar Mallory has been named to Daktronics NCAA DII Atlantic Men’s Basketball All-Region Second Team

Glenville, W.Va. - Glenville State’s Lamar Mallory has been named to Daktronics NCAA DII Atlantic Men’s Basketball All-Region Second Team.

Lamar led the Pioneers in scoring with 18.7 points per game as well a leading GSC in rebounding with 8.3 points per game.

Mallory led GSC to an 18-10 record and all the way to the MEC Semifinals, before losing to MEC Champion University of Charleston.

Lamar also was named to the MEC All-Conference First Team. He also helped the Pioneers make history as GSC earned a bid into the NCAA DII Men’s Basketball Atlantic Regional Tournament, for the first time in school history.

Pioneers are the number seven seed and will play the number two seed West Liberty in East Stroudsburg on Saturday, March 15th at 2:30 pm.

West Liberty senior guard Cedric Harris, the Atlantic Region’s Player of the Year.
