Glenville, W.Va. – The Glenville State Pioneer football team along with head coach David Hutchison and defensive coordinator Blake Tasker traveled to the WVU Children’s Hospital on Wednesday, April 2nd to read and interact with children at the hospital.
After several hours of interaction with the children the Pioneers then traveled to the Ronald McDonald House to serve a spaghetti dinner prepared by Ms. Kirkpatrick and our own Aramark Food Service.
“It was a great day and a lot of fun, I am glad that we could make this trip up here and spread some laughter with these great children,” stated GSC wide receiver Quin Thornton.
The Pioneers are in the middle of spring practice, the Annual Blue vs. White Spring Game will be held on Thursday, April 24th at I.L. & Sue Morris Stadium.
