The Glenville State Men’s basketball team had their six game winning streak snapped as they fell to Alderson Broaddus tonight at Lilly Gymnasium, 79-67. AB’s Stan Hall led all scorers with 27 points. Terrell Eargle added 18 and Montel Lee recorded a double double with 11 points and 16 rebounds.

The Pioneers, who trailed by nine at intermission, would cut the lead to four twice in the final 10 minutes of the contest, but was unable to get any closer as the Battlers held them at bay. The Battlers, typically one of the best rebounding teams in the WVIAC, held a 38-30 rebounding advantage, including a huge 24 to 11 advantage in the second half.
