The Glenville State College Cheerleading squad will be holding cheerleading tryouts on Friday, April 8th from 6:00PM to 9:00PM and on Saturday, April 9th from 10:00AM to 2:00PM in the Jesse R. Lilly Gym.
Requirements for the team are cheer experience REQUIRED, tumbling preferred, dedication!!!, and willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Also Friday night Glenville State College will be providing housing for those in need. Please call the GSC Student Affairs office at 304-462-4111 or email gsccheerleading@aol.com to make your housing arrangements.
GSC cheerleading is Coached by Amanda McGill-White. She is a former Naitonal Champion with Fairmont State College. She also owns Cheermania, L.L.C. in Parkersburg, WV. This will be Amanda’s second season with GSC cheerleading. The goal of this team is to represent the campus with class! We will continnue to support our sport teams with high spirits and we also have hopes to compete this year ourselves.
