The Lady Pioneers came out of their 1st-round matchup with the Lady Cardinals of Wheeling Jesuit University with a 3-0 victory. Kayla Shobe hit a 2-run homer to put GSC on the board 2-0, and the Lady Pioneers added another run later to ice it and move on to the next round of the winner’s bracket.
GSC will face the #1 seeded University of Charleston this afternoon at 2:00.
