Athens, WV – The Lady Pioneers volleyball team fell to Concord University Friday afternoon three games to none.
Concord defeated GSC in game one 25-21, game two 25-15, and game three 25-22.
MacKenize Willneff led the Lady Pioneers in kills with 10, while Julie Anne Buckley finished with eight, and Jamie Schindel recorded seven kills.
Stefanie Gladders recorded 27 assists while Heather Stout finished the contest with two serve aces.
MacKenize also led the Lady Pioneers in digs with five; she also recorded GSC’s only block in the game.
Concord was led by Sarah Jones and Tori Fornadel as they both had six kills. Helen Theisen led Concord in assists with 13.
The Lady Pioneers beat Bluefield State Friday night three game to none. They won game one 25-13, 25-19 in game two, and 25-21 in game three.
