Tenisha Wilson Named WVIAC Player Of The Week

Tenisha Wilson Player of the Week Princeton, WV – Glenville State’s Tenisha Wilson has been named WVIAC Player of the Week, as announced by the league office.

Wilson, a 5’9” senior guard from Chicago, Ill., led the Pioneers to a 2-0 week. She helped propel the squad into first place in the league rankings.

In the win over Fairmont State, Wilson amassed 27 points, eight rebounds, four assists and two steals in just 24 minutes of action. Against Wheeling Jesuit, Wilson hit for 15 points and collected 10 rebounds in just 20 minutes of playing time. She also totaled two assists, had a block and registered a steal.

For the week, Wilson averaged 21 points, nine rebounds, three assists and 1.5 steals per game. The two games also helped her move into the top five in the league for scoring and top 10 for rebounding.
