A new and exciting event is available for Glenville State students to participate in. Third Time’s the Charm

Defeating the Fairmont State Falcons 41-21 in the Battle of the Bit, The Glenville State College Pioneers will retain the Bit trophy for the third consecutive year. By the end of the first quarter, the Pioneers showed the Falcons who clearly would be in charge for the rest of the game, ending the quarter with a score of 17-7.             The 5th Annual Juried Art Show had its opening Monday, March 19th at the Fine Arts Building and featured 44 different works of art by GSC students. After years of no crackerjacks, chilidogs, and chalk lines, baseball is coming back to Glenville. Yes, baseball has been a part of the school the last couple years as a club but this year will be a part of the highly competitive West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference with a 50 game regular season that includes opening the season with a tournament in North Carolina. The men’s and women’s track teams both begin outdoor competition at Lynchburg College in Virginia.
