A book signing is being planned for Glenville State College employee Bill Church and his new publication. His new book is titled Medicinal Plants, Trees, and Shrubs of Appalachia and was published late last year. The event will be held in the GSC Bookstore on Wednesday, April 3 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. “We are looking forward to this event being successful. Pioneers Defeat Rams in First Round of WVIAC Tournament

            The Pioneers defeated the Shepherd University Rams on Tuesday night in the first round of tournament play. In the first half, the teams exchanged baskets until the buzzer sounded for halftime with Glenville State up by three, 41-38. Glenville State Football Schedule Announced

The Mountain East Conference has had a lot of hype but none more than the release of its inaugural football season. Glenville’s slate will include many old foes and rivals from the old West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference but will also include some new opponents.
