Second Semester Fast Approaching – Financial AidBy James Andrew Dunlap | October 31st, 2013 | Category: News | No Comments »
The second semester is fast approaching along with some new financial aid deadlines and activities that you should be ready for. The most important upcoming financial aid activity is applying for your FAFSA as soon as possible if you are returning for the 2014-2015 school year. Application for FAFSA begins on January 1 and although it’s a common misconception you do not have to file your taxes before you fill it out, if you are a Promise Scholarship you must fill it out by March 1 and April 15 for WV Grant.
The financial aid office here at Glenville will be holding several workshops next semester for anyone who has any questions or needs help with anything. Remember to check your email as any deadlines or notices will be sent through your official GSC email. These notices are important for they are required to complete your financial aid portfolio. Schedule your classes next week and finish out this semester, but be looking forward to the next.
