Literature Reading

Jeffrey CondranToday, Thursday, November 14, there will be a literature reading by Marjorie Stewart and Jeff Condram at 4p.m. in room 315 of the MCCC.

Jeffrey Condram, an Assistant English Professor at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, has published a story collection entitled A Fingerprint Repeated. His first novel, Prague Summer, will be released in the Spring of 2014. Condram has also had some of his fiction published in The Kenyon Review and The Missouri Review. Condram was awarded the 2010 William Peden Prize and nominated for the Pushcart Prize. With his colleague, Robert Peluso, Condam co-founded Braddock Avenue Books.

Marjorie Stewart is an Assistant English Professor at Glenville State College. Stewart is a playwright whose play Winter Solstice will be produced at
Glenville State College in December. She taught at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with Condram for four years. Both Condram and Stewart went to the University of Pittsburgh where they both received their MFA in fiction writing, but they never met until Stewart received a job at the Institute.
