Glenville, WV—When Crystal Dawn Murphy of Normantown, West Virginia, a Glenville State College junior majoring in business graduates, she will receive a check from the school for $5,000. Murphy was the winner of the first GSC Get Really Rich preregistration promotion last spring. “I will probably use the money to help pay off my student loans,” said Murphy. The promotion has been expanded. Students who pre-register for Spring 2008 between Monday, November 5, and Thursday, November 15, could be big winners. First, when students pre-register early, they have the best chance at getting the classes they want, when they want them. Plus by pre-registering during this period, they will be eligible to win cold hard cash.

This semester, every GSC student who pre-registers between November 5 and 15 will be eligible for the new Get Rich Now daily drawings for a $100 instant cash prize. Two winners will be drawn each day beginning November 6 through November 16. The earlier they register the more chances they have to win. Instant cash prizes come in the form of instant checks. Students can only win one Get Rich Now prize. Winners will be posted each day in the Registrar’s Office and the Mollohan Center. All Get Rich Now winners are still eligible to win the grand prize.

Those who pre-register for Spring 2008 between November 5 and November 15, will also be eligible to win the Get Really Rich $5,000 prize. A single winner will be randomly selected from all pre-registered students on Friday, November 16. The Get Really Rich prize will be awarded when the winner graduates with a four-year degree from Glenville State College. The winner must be continuously enrolled at GSC through graduation. GSC faculty and staff are not eligible.

Murphy said, “Before I won the $5000 in the spring, I had never won anything in my life. I can’t say that anymore!”
