Off Campus Programs

Off Campus Programs

Glenville State College Off Campus programs encompasses two United States Department of Education experimental site initiatives: our Dual Enrollment/Dual Credit offerings for High School Students and our Second Chance Pell Programs for incarcerated students.  Glenville State College is the only institution in West Virginia that allows High School students access to their Pell Grant funds while still in high school, and we were a founding member school in the Second Chance Pell initiative, which is now going to be expanded nationwide.

Off Campus Programs is a missional extension of the objectives and goals of the Academic Affairs Office and Glenville State College, utilizing programs that provide an opportunity for traditional or non-traditional students take the steps towards their higher education goals. Off Campus programs exists to educate potential students on the different pathways which are available to them in continuing their education past high school graduation. Off Campus Programs partners with high schools and two correctional facilities to provide time and cost saving opportunities for students to begin and continue their higher education degree, certificate, or continuing education needs for several fields of study.
