Three Honored as Emeriti Faculty at GSC

Three Glenville State College professors were recognized recently as emeriti faculty; joining 32 other GSC professors who share the title. The honors were bestowed upon Dr. Kathy Butler, Dr. Sherry Jones, and Dr. Michael Smith at the 140th Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 10, 2014.
Fifty Students Named GSC Honor Graduates

Fifty members of Glenville State College's Class of 2014 have been recognized as honor graduates. The students received their honor stoles at the annual Honor Graduates Reception held on May 8th in the Mollohan Campus Community Center Ballroom.
Warner Receives Student Leadership Award at GSC Commencement

Kyle Warner, a 2014 Glenville State College Accounting and Management graduate, was presented with the Student Leadership Award at GSC's Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 10th.

GSC Class of 2014 Receives Their Diplomas; Rust Delivers Keynote Address

The Glenville State College Class of 2014 includes graduates who completed requirements for an Associate or Bachelor's Degree in a variety of academic areas including business, criminal justice, teacher education, and natural resource management among others. The GSC Class of 2014 is made up of more than 220 students who completed their degree requirements in July 2013, December 2013, and May 2014.
Four GSC Cadets Receive Army Commissions

On Friday, May 9th four Glenville State College Army ROTC students, also members of the WVSU based 'Yellow Jacket Battalion,' were commissioned as United States Army Second Lieutenants during a ceremony held at the state capitol in Charleston.
Rust to give Keynote Address at 140th GSC Commencement

The ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in GSC's new Waco Center which is located on Mineral Road in Glenville.
Waco Center Public Open House April 26th

The public is invited to attend the open house of the new multi-million dollar Glenville State College Waco Center. Tours will be given on Saturday, April 26th from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. during GSC's Alumni Day.

Final plans for this year's Alumni Day on Saturday, April 26th have been made. All alumni and friends of the college are invited back to campus.
Annual GSC Literary Magazine Reading Slated

The reading will be held on Friday, April 11th at 4:00 p.m. in the Mollohan Campus Community Center Multipurpose Room (315A). The reading will give the writers, poets, and artists a chance to bring their works to life in a spoken-word format. It will also include an open microphone session.
