"Come Spin a Tale!" Youth Storytelling Camp

Monday, July 17 - Friday, July 21, 2023 on the campus of Glenville State University
Open to incoming 9th-12th graders and new high school graduates
Students will be given instruction in establishing stories and developing characters, getting and keeping an audience’s attention, drawing from personal narratives, developing improvisational skills, using body language and inflection, performance skills, telling tall tales, and more. Tuition for the camp is $100 and includes meals and lodging on the Glenville State University campus. Early bird registration is $80 through April 1. Storytellers and camp instructors include Bil Lepp, Adam Booth, Jodi French-Burr, Fran Kirk, Judi Tarowsky, Teri Lott, Kevin Cordi, Jamie Froemel, and others.
