Curriculum Vitae

Maureen Kraus Gildein received a B.A. in Health/Physical Education from Glenville State College. She earned a M.Ed. from Gardner Webb University and University of North Carolina-Greensboro in Educational Leadership. She is a doctoral candidate at Marshall University, pursuing an Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on instructional technology.

Professor Gildein previously served as a teacher and principal in North Carolina public schools. At Glenville, she teaches physical/health education methods courses, wellness and health, and human performance courses. She also serves on Faculty Senate, is a co-advisor to the Chi Zeta Pi sorority, and is a member of the GSC Alumni Council and GSC Foundation Board.
