Glenville, WV – Everyone is invited to attend the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America’s (SPBGMA) 46th Annual Bluegrass Music Awards and National Convention. Sponsored by Glenville State College’s Pioneer Stage Bluegrass Music Education Center, a bus trip to the convention is available for community members wishing to attend. The convention is hosted at the Sheraton Music City Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee. The bus departs Glenville on Thursday, January 30 and returns on Sunday, February 2.

Round trip rates for adults are as follows: $920 a person with only one adult, $634 a person with two adults sharing the same room, $574 a person with three adults sharing the same room, $539 a person with four adults sharing the same room, and $519 a person with five adults sharing the same room. A rollaway bed can also be purchased at an additional charge of $35.

The tickets include three nights of lodging at the Sheraton Music City, round trip bus fare, and all bluegrass shows taking place throughout the weekend. The shows will begin on Thursday night and include a ticket to the Saturday night Grand Ole Opry show.

Seat reservations are needed by Friday, January 3 and require a $100 deposit due to limited space being available. Full payment is due by Friday, January 17. Payment can be made at the Pioneer Stage or the GSC Foundation Office.

If reservations are canceled by an individual, all money will be refunded less $100. In the event the event is cancelled due to a lack of interest, all money will be refunded in full.
