Glenville State to Honor Lady Pioneer Great Rachel Redick

Glenville State College will be honoring former women's standout Rachel Redick on February 19th when the Men and Women basketball teams battle West Liberty.

Redick was a member of the GSC Lady Pioneer basketball team from 2003 to 2007.

Redick is the all time leader in points, having  scored 2,410 during her four years at the school.  She is the all time leader in three-pointers made with 352, as well as second all time in steals with with 309, and sixth all time in assists with 473.

Redick had an exemplary career while at Glenville State. Some of her accomplishments include; 2003-2007, named to the WVIAC Tournament Team and in 2007 was also named WVIAC Tournament MVP, 2003-04 was named to the All WVIAC All-Freshman Team, as well as the Freshman of the Year.

During 2004-2007 she was named to the All WVIAC 1st Team, also from 04-06 she was named to the Daktronics All-East Region 1st Team.

In 2005-2006 she made Division II Bulletin All-American Team Honorable Mention as well as WBCA/Kodak All-American Team Honorable Mention.

And during the 2006-2007 year she was named to the WBCA/Kodak All-American 1st Team, Daktronics NCAA Division II All-American 1st Team and was named the WVIAC Player of the Year.

Also during her senior year she led the Lady Pioneers to the NCAA Division II Elite Eight.
