GLENVILLE, WV – Glenville State University student Marissa Forga has been awarded a merit-based “Wisdom Exchange” scholarship from Mountain State Oral and Facial Surgery (MSOFS).

Forga, a Richwood resident and graduate of Richwood High School, is studying chemistry at Glenville State University in a pre-pharmacy track. The $500 scholarship will go toward Forga’s tuition and expenses. She is a patient at the MSOFS Beckley office where she had her wisdom teeth removed this summer.

“I was super excited and thankful when I received the call and learned about receiving the scholarship,” Forga said. “My heart was pounding and I couldn’t have been more grateful.”

Two other students – Brayden Pates of Dunbar, West Virginia and Brooklyn Ring, of Roanoke, Virginia – also received MSOFS scholarships.

“We want our patients to have every opportunity to secure the best possible education, and we want to do everything possible to help support them,” said Dr. Jack Krajekian, Board Certified Oral and Facial Surgeon at MSOFS. “Being a strong supporter of our communities and patients has always been a part of who we are at MSOFS. We believe helping our young people with their educational goals is truly important, and it’s our privilege to provide these funds to these students to assist them on their academic journey.”
