Glenville, WV – Plans are underway for the Glenville State College Fall 2014 Pioneer Preview to take place on Saturday, October 25th. This open house event is held for prospective students and their families to tour the campus and learn about GSC academic degree programs and student services.
“We are thrilled to show off our campus and the new Waco Center to prospective students. This is a great opportunity for our future Pioneers to get a feel of campus life,” said GSC Supervisor for Enrollment Ashley Weir.
The day’s schedule begins at 8:30 a.m. with check-in and light breakfast in the Heflin Administration Building. The admissions staff and other GSC personnel then kick off the day’s presentations at 9:00 a.m. discussing topics such as Financial Aid, Student Life, and the ROTC program. Campus tours will be conducted starting at 10:00 a.m. followed by an academic department fair in the Mollohan Campus Community Center Ballroom at 11:00 a.m. After a 12:00 p.m. break for lunch students and their guests are then invited to join fans at Morris Stadium as the Pioneer football team takes on Notre Dame of Cleveland at 1:00 p.m.
