Glenville, WV – Glenville State College will host a murder mystery event on Friday, February 15 in the Mollohan Campus Community Center Ballroom. A social hour will begin at 6:00 p.m. which includes beverages and appetizers, followed by the murder mystery show and dinner at 7:00 p.m.

The murder mystery show is titled Murder at Musty Meadow Manor and will be presented by GSC Theater students. Guests will work alongside detective Frances Columbus to try and discover whodunnit.

In Pocahontas County in the 1920's, matron Dahlia Meadows has nothing left of her family fortune. The money has mysteriously disappeared from the bank. The family mansion is up for auction. Then...the dastardly deed happens. Is it the helpful companion? Her manly boyfriend? The shady ex-lover? The odd lawyer and his even odder brother? The banker or his wife? And what about the detective who shows up at just the right time?

Attendees are encouraged to dress to match the theme: Valentine’s Day in the 1920’s. Prizes will be awarded for best costume, best couple’s costume, attendee who traveled the farthest, first person to register, and “Chief Detective” (the person who solves the murder first).

Tickets are $30 for one, $60 for couples, and $200 for a reserved table which seats seven. You may purchase tickets by calling (304) 462-6380.

A special GSC student only version of this event will take place on Wednesday, February 13 beginning at 6:00 p.m. That event will be free for GSC students and the dinner will be part of their meal plan.
