Glenville, WV -- Glenville State College is proud to present “Snapshot” on Thursday September 13, at 7:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Auditorium. This moving one woman play is written, directed as well as performed by Carmen Mitzi Sinnott.

Based on a true story, “Snapshot” is the saga of a daughters walk through the past as she searches for her absent father who left for Vietnam before she was born. It is the story of connections between public policies and private lives and raises issues of war, identity, race, mental illness, family relationships, and love. The play combines modern dance, song and spoken word in a emotional performance that forces us to look at the truth of our past and reconcile our own lives.

Mitzi Sinnott, a native of Flatwoods Kentucky, has performed “Snapshot” across the nation and in many countries around the world. Sinnott has received many rave reviews, honors and awards for both her writing and performing of this inspiring autobiographical play.

This hour-long performance that promises to evoke many emotions, is being presented at Glenville State College free of charge, and is open to anyone who wishes to attend. For more information, call (304) 462-7361x7412.
