The victims of this week's deadly shooting at Virginia Tech are being remembered at Glenville State College in Gilmer County. GSC's Student Government Association President Donte Fuller says the SGA would like students, faculty, and staff to wear some type of maroon and or orange colored clothing on campus on Friday, April 20th. It's part of a national day of mourning for those affected by the Blacksburg, Virginia incident. Fuller said, "Those participating will help us all remember the victims of the tragedy as well as their families." A prayer vigil for the victims and their families was held on the campus on Tuesday evening followed by a candlelight vigil later that night. Those events were organized by the GSC Wesley Foundation and local chapter of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
