Due to feedback from area students, Glenville State College is expanding ACT test dates to include all possible testing dates. In the past, GSC conducted three testing dates during the year. Over the next twelve months, GSC is scheduled to hold seven testing dates. By expanding the number of available test dates, GSC hopes to make it more convenient for area students to take or re-take the ACT test. The ACT test dates at Glenville State College are: June 14, 2008, September 13, 2008, October 25, 2008, December 13, 2008, February 7, 2009, April 4, 2009, June 13, 2009.

In the summer of 2007, GSC hosted an ACT camp to help students work on English, Math, Science, Reading, and Writing skills in preparation for taking the ACT. Although GSC is not holding a specific ACT camp this summer, general ACT study skills are being incorporated in K-12 Initiative camps for Hidden Promise Scholars in the 8th through 12th grades.
