Glenville, WV – Members of Glenville State College’s Student Education Association (SEA) invite the campus and community to Vera Bradley Bingo on March 1st from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Doors open at noon for the event, which will take place in the Mollohan Campus Community Center third floor ballroom. This is a fundraising event to sponsor future educational activities in the public school system and on the college campus such as Dr. Seuss’s Birthday and Read Across America Celebration. “The proceeds from this event will make it easier for the Glenville State College Student Education Association to fund projects such as the Dr. Seuss Birthday Celebration as well as make events larger and more attractive to the children in Gilmer County,” said Christina Braden, GSC-SEA President.

A wide variety of Vera Bradley products from ID cases to large duffle bags will be used as prizes. Early purchasers will be entered into a special raffle drawing, and a bake sale will also be held the day of the event. The event promises to be a fun and enjoyable one for all who attend. Tickets can be purchased from a variety of locations or by contacting an SEA member directly. The cost per ticket is $20. Each ticket includes twenty games of bingo.

The SEA is offering a special discount to Glenville State College faculty and staff as well as to public school employees in Gilmer and Braxton Counties. Faculty and staff receive a $5 discount off the purchase of one ticket. The purchaser must identify themselves as a GSC or public school employee and fill out a special discount coupon available at all purchasing locations. (This offer does not apply to Glenville State College student workers.)

Tickets can be purchased at the following locations: Four Seasons Tanning and Beauty Salon in Glenville and the Glenville State College Education Department. Tickets can also be purchased by contacting one of the following SEA members: Christina Braden (462-6118), Rachel Burkett (462-6067), or Stacey Butler (462-5704).
