Glenville, WV -- Several Glenville State College students will be learning about history and possibly hauntings as they tour the old Weston State Hospital building on Friday, October 26th, at around 5:00 p.m. The early Halloween field trip is being organized by GSC's Student Support Services Department. The former hospital building was known as the Trans-Allegheny Asylum for the insane, is renowned as one of the largest hand-cut stone buildings in the world, and is also reputed as being haunted by its former patients. The field trip also includes dinner, a haunted hayride, and a tour of a haunted house in Lewis County. For more information on GSC's Student Support Services, call 462-4118.
