GSC Theatre to Present 'Bad Dates'

Glenville, WV—The Glenville State College Theatre is now rehearsing for their next presentation. ‘Bad Dates’ is a collection of three separate one-act plays related only by the common theme of the difficulties of dating. “All three plays are full of predicaments in dating that everyone will recognize and relate to,” said Dennis Wemm, Professor of Communications and Director of ‘Bad Dates.’

Act I, ‘Bridal Terrorism’ by Bill Rosenfield, is a comedy Featuring GSC students Zack Cyriacks of Braxton County, Ryan Konarske of Roane County, Edmond White of Webster County, and Leonard Terrango, Whitney Stalnaker, and Jean Isenhart all of Gilmer County.

Act II, ‘February 14th’ by Seth Kramer is more of a drama that has just two roles played by Sarah Sivard of Gilmer County and Edmond White.

Act III, ‘Sure Thing’ by David Ives, is also a comedy and has just two parts played by Zack Cyriacks and Whitney Stalnaker.

‘Bad Dates” will be performed on February 21 and 22, at 7:00 p.m. each evening in the Presidents Auditorium in the Heflin Administration building. The performance is free to all GSC students and just $3.00 for general admission.
