Guest Chef to Serve Up Culinary Expertise at GSC
Mon Feb 21, 2011

As part of Aramark's Mid-Atlantic Region Guest Chef Exchange Program, Glenville State College will be hosting Chef Marie Blevins Tuesday, February 22 through Thursday, February 24 daily from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Mollohan’s Restaurant.

Chef Blevins received her culinary degree at Sullivan University in Louisville, Kentucky. She has been a Catering Chef at Morehead State University, Kentucky, for the past 11 years.

The exchange program is designed to give chefs an opportunity to be exposed to new peers, learn how things are done at other schools, and to engage with new customers. The hosting school also benefits by learning new cooking styles, exchanging ideas, and, of course, sharing great food.

Blevins is expected to prepare a few dishes during lunch in Mollohan's Restaurant during her visit.

The guest chef program was brought to the Aramark Mid-Atlantic region in the fall of 2010.
