The first game against UC San Diego on Wednesday, March 21st at 1:00 p.m. in Kearney, Nebraska was not broadcast on national television. So, the GSC Instructional Technology Department employees came to the rescue and made arrangements for live streaming video of the action to be shown in several places on campus.

GSC Associate Vice-President of Technology Larry Baker said, “Live streaming video of the game was shown across campus in locations including the Heflin Administration Building Presidents Auditorium, the Rusty Musket, the Louis Bennett Hall Conference Room, and the Mollohan Campus Community Center Auditorium. Several local residents also visited the campus to see the game action live from the NCAA Division II National Tournament in Nebraska. The game was also broadcast live with Bob Edwards on 104.7 FM WVRC Radio out of Spencer.

The Lady Pioneers were unfortunately defeated by their opponent with a final score of 71-61.
