Lady Pioneers Picked 8th in WVIAC Women's Golf Preseason Poll

Princeton, WV – Concord has been selected the WVIAC preseason women’s golf favorite to win the league championship as voted on by the league’s coaches.

Concord registered five first-place votes and 112 total points. Wheeling Jesuit snagged three first-place nods and 109 total points. West Liberty also had three first-place ballots and 103 points for third place in the preseason poll.

Seton Hill was selected fourth with 81 total points. The Griffins totaled one second-place vote. West Virginia Wesleyan was picked fifth with 74 points, edging past Ohio Valley who amassed 73 points.

Fairmont State was chosen seventh with 53 points while Glenville State was eighth with 40 points. Pitt-Johnstown was ninth with 31 points. Charleston and West Virginia State tied for ninth with 25 points.
