Archie Talley

Since 1984, Talley has been traveling the country, speaking at schools, events, civic and professional organizations as a motivational speaker. He is a realistic and honest representation of the material he has shared with hundreds of audiences over the years - healthy living, education, self esteem and success. Talley has the credibility to gain the respect of any audience, but especially young people! His athletic talent and showmanship is the magnet that draws their attention and primes them for his powerful message, in a dynamic presentation that they will remember all through their lives.

In his "Ingredients of Life" program, people realize what it takes to be successful; the importance of teachers, parents and positive role models, and how being an American allows them the freedom to pursue their goals.

“I want to get everyone to believe in themselves and realize that what they already have makes them rich,” said Talley.

Talley was born and raised in Washington, D.C. and then traveled to Salem College in West Virginia to pursue his dreams. From the challenges in his youth to the greatness at the height of his basketball career, Archie has amassed a lifetime of experiences to share. He has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Relations and a Masters Degree in Education from Salem University in West Virginia.
