Neal Corwell to Perform in Concert at GSC

Glenville, WV--A member of the U.S. Army Band is scheduled to travel to Gilmer County to entertain an audience at Glenville State College. Neal Corwell, the principal euphonium player in “Pershings Own” United States Army Band in Washington, D.C. will perform at Glenville State College on Monday, October 23, 2006 at 8:00 p.m.

The performance will take place in the GSC Fine Arts Auditorium, and admission is free. Corwell will be playing traditional classical music and electronic music.

Lloyd Bone, GSC Assistant Professor of Music, Brass Professor and Band Director, said, "Corwell is a world-famous euphonium soloist and composer and is one of the world’s leaders in electronic music. We are honored to have him scheduled to perform here on this campus and in this community."
