Professor Kristen Tunno Set to Inspire at the Women Leaders National Convention in New Orleans 

Professor Kristen Tunno, a prominent figure at Glenville State University serving as the Senior Woman Administrator in athletics and Lecturer of Business over the Sport Management program, is all set to represent Glenville State University at the upcoming Women Leaders National Convention in New Orleans from October 8th to 10th. 

This exciting opportunity was made possible by Professor Tunno's successful application for a $2500 grant from the esteemed Mountain East Conference. The grant serves as recognition of her outstanding contributions to the field of sports management and her commitment to advancing opportunities for women in athletics. 

The Women Leaders National Convention is an annual gathering of the brightest and most influential women leaders in the world of sports, providing a platform for networking, professional development, and the exchange of ideas. The event offers a rich array of sessions, workshops, and keynote speeches featuring trailblazing women who have made a significant impact in the sports industry. 

Professor Kristen Tunno, whose dedication to empowering women in sports has been evident throughout her career, is thrilled to be part of this event. She will have the opportunity to engage with and learn from other influential women in the field while sharing her own experiences and insights.

In her role as Senior Woman Administrator in athletics and Lecturer of Business at Glenville State University, Professor Tunno has been a driving force behind initiatives aimed at promoting gender equity in sports and empowering the next generation of female leaders in the industry. Her participation in the Women Leaders National Convention is a testament to her commitment to these important causes.
