Glenville, WV—Glenville State College has awarded diplomas to sixty-eight students who graduated in December. The graduates represent twenty-three counties in West Virginia and four other states: Tennessee, Washington, Ohio, and North Carolina.

Six residents of Braxton County are December graduates. Rebecca Alice Mar of Gassaway received a Regents Bachelor of Arts Degree. Melissa Arlene McCumbers of Frametown graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Behavioral Science with a specialization in Criminal Justice. Jamie M. Quinn of Sutton graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Natural Resource Management. Mary Estella Ramsey of Orlando Received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education with a specialization in Elementary Education. Jeremy Todd Roberts of Burnsville graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing. Rebecca Ann Skidmore of Gassaway has received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education with a specialization in Early Education PreK-K.

Four graduates are from Calhoun County. Trina R. Beall of Grantsville received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education with a specialization in Social Studies. Kara Jo Haymaker of Mount Zion graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Behavioral Science with a specialization in Applied Psychology/Sociology. Tiffany Danielle Jones of Grantsville received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Behavioral Science with a specialization in Criminal Justice. Kelly Brooke Sampson of Grantsville graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education with a specialization in Early Education PreK-K.

Two Fayette County residents were December graduates. John Warren Gilkeson of Danese received an Associates Degree in Forest Technology. Sarah Melissa Kidder of Fayetteville graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Behavioral Science with a specialization in Psychology/Sociology.

Gilmer County led all counties with twenty students earning their degree. Adam Leslie Batton of Rosedale has received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Behavioral Science with a major in Criminal Justice. Erica Dawn Ball of Sand Fork received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education with a specialization in Early Education PreK-K. Mark Allen Biller of Glenville graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Natural Resource Management. Andrew Burke Butcher of Glenville received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Chemistry. Miranda Lou Canfield of Cedarville received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education with a specialization in Early Education PreK-K. Carol Ann Goodrich of Normantown graduated with a Regents Bachelor of Arts Degree. John Howard Hess of Glenville received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Behavioral Science with a specialization in Criminal Justice. Joshua Lee James of Normantown received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a major in Management. Jason L. Jessica Michelle Montgomery of Glenville received a Regents Bachelor of Arts Degree. Heather Marie Phares of Glenville received two degrees, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Education with specialization in Early Education PreK-K. Dana Maurice Raban of Glenville graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education with a specialization in Physical Education. Rachel Ann Redick of Glenville graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education with a specialization in Elementary Education. Tracie N. Reed of Normantown received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Behavioral Science with a major in Criminal Justice. Michael Lee Roberts of Glenville graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Management. Michael Andrew Shiflet of Stumptown graduated Magna Cum Laude with two Degrees, a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Management and an Associate Degree in Forest Technology. Chad David Tingler of Glenville graduated Magna Cum Laude with an Associate Degree in Land Surveying Technology. Jennifer Lynn Walsh of Linn graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Behavioral Science with a specialization in Psychology/Sociology.

Gregory Dale Morgan of White Sulphur Springs in Greenbrier County graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education with an emphasis in Music.

Hardy County’s Michael Renee Thomas of Moorefield graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education with a specialization in English.

Christopher Scott Brown of Salem in Harrison County received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Natural Resource Management.

Jackson County had one resident graduate. Ty R. Pistelli of Ravenswood received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education with an emphasis in Social Studies.

From Kanawha County Shannon Chad Earl of Charleston graduated with a Regents Bachelor of Arts Degree.

Three Lewis County residents are among the December graduates. Kyle R. Clevenger of Camden received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Natural Resource Management. Miranda Nicole Hathaway of Weston graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education with an emphasis in Early Education PreK-K. Tiffany Renee Lantz received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree.

Ian Thomas Smith of Hartford in Mason County graduated with an Associate Degree in Forest Technology.

Mingo County had one student receive a diploma. Randee Nicole Nida of Gilbert graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education with a specialization in Music.

Casey Lane Taylor has completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education with specializations in Physical Education and Health Education. Taylor’s hometown is Sinks Grove in Monroe County.

Eileen Renee Marsh of Greenwood in Morgan County graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education with an emphasis in Music.

Five students from Nicholas County graduated. Jeremy Ray Brown of Summersville received an Associate Degree in Forest Technology. Elizabeth Faye Moore of Mount Nebo graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Behavioral Science with a specialization in Criminal Justice. Craig Michael Ricottilli of Summersville received an Associate Degree in Forest Technology. Casey Bradford Russell of Leivasy graduated with an Associate Degree in Forest Technology. Rachel Dawn Singleton of Summersville received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education with an emphasis in Music.

Rebecca Ann Conrad of Brandywine in Pendleton County graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Behavioral Science with an emphasis in Criminal Justice.

From Pocahontas County, Nicole Leigh Wilfong of Dunmore received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Natural Resource Management.

Stephen Allen Caldwell of Hurricane in Putnam County received two degrees from GSC, a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Management and an Associate Degree in Land Surveying Technology.

Taylor County native Jacqueline Nicole Brake of Flemington Graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education with an emphasis in Early Education PreK-K.

Five Upshur County residents received their diplomas. Stephanie Renae Anderson of Buckhannon received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. Jennifer Michele Blake of Buckhannon graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education with a specialization in Early Education PreK-K. Tonya Lynn Herndon of French Creek received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Behavioral Science with an emphasis in Psychology/Sociology. Steven Wayne Stankus received a Regents Bachelor of Arts Degree. Sarah Elizabeth Wright graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science with a specialization in Criminal Justice.

Two of the graduates are from Webster County. Adam Kyle McCourt of Webster Springs received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. Kara Ann Wilkins of Webster Springs graduated with a Regents Bachelor of Arts Degree.

Rhianna Eileen Jobes of Proctor in Wetzel County received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Behavioral Science with a specialization in Psychology/Sociology.

Four Wood County residents are among the sixty-eight December graduates. Wesley Brenton Collins of Parkersburg received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. Kyle Anne Dugas of Vienna graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education with an emphasis in Biological Science. Gregory Owen Lamecker of Vienna graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education with a specialization in Music. Bryan Edward Smith received an Associate Degree in Land Surveying Technology.

Students from four states other than West Virginia also graduated. Jennifer Elaine McHenry of Julian, North Carolina received a Regents Bachelor of Arts Degree. Oscar Lee Smith of Huntersville, North Carolina graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a major in Management. Eric Marquie Hampton of Cleveland, Ohio received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. Rebekah Ann Marie Long of Nashville, Tennessee graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Education with a specialization in Music. Sara L. Gallegos of Edmonds, Washington graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Regents Bachelor of Arts Degree.

A reception honoring the December graduates was held at the Mollohan Campus Community Center on December 6th. These graduates are eligible to participate in the 2008 Glenville State College Commencement Ceremonies on May 10th.
