GSC’s Annual Percussion Ensemble Tickets on sale March 1
Tickets for the annual Glenville State College Percussion Ensemble will go on sale on Friday, March 1 at 8:00 a.m. Concerts will be held on Thursday, April 4 and Friday, April 5 at 7:00 p.m. in the GSC Fine Arts Center Auditorium.
Glenville State Partners with Nicholas County, Richwood High Schools
Glenville State College has partnered with Nicholas County High School and Richwood High School to provide students with the opportunity to complete their two-year Associate of Arts degree in General Studies with an emphasis in Education or Business at the same time they are completing their high school graduation requirements.
Mardi Gras Premium Night planned at GSC
The public is invited to Mollohan’s Restaurant at Glenville State College on Thursday, February 21 from 4:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. for Mardi Gras Premium Night.
Generous Donation Benefits Glenville State Art and Design Students
Glenville State College Art and Design students can let their creativity to flow thanks to a generous donation from an award-winning artist. The Applied Learning Art and Design Computer Lab, located in the Fine Arts Center, was completed in part by Arlinka Worl, a silver and gold Grumbacher medal award-winning artist from Detroit, Michigan.
Celebration of Words Event Planned at GSC on February 21
Faculty members in Glenville State College’s Department of Language and Literature are planning a Celebration of Words event in the Robert F. Kidd Library on Thursday, February 21, at 4:00 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Glenville State Graduate Appears on Wheel of Fortune
A Glenville State College alumna won big on a recent episode of Wheel of Fortune. Amy Perkins, a Special Education teacher at Flatwoods Elementary School, graduated from GSC in 2005 with a degree in Elementary Education.
