Health & PE Student Presents at 98th Annual WVAHPERD Convention
Senior Glenville State College Health and Physical Education major Jessy Moore recently presented at the 98th Annual West Virginia Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance (WVAHPERD) Convention in Charleston, West Virginia.
GSC Theatre Program to Perform “Doctor Faustus”
Actors in Glenville State College’s theatre program are preparing for their upcoming play “Doctor Faustus.” The play will be presented on Monday, November 4, Tuesday, November 5, and Wednesday, November 6 in the Heflin Administration Building President’s Auditorium beginning at 7:00 p.m.
DiGennaro to Perform Senior Recital
Glenville State College student Jessica DiGennaro will be performing her senior recital on Sunday, October 27 at 3:00 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center Auditorium.
Red Cross Blood Drive Coming to GSC on October 28
Staff and students in the Glenville State College Hidden Promise Scholars program are sponsoring an American Red Cross Blood Drive on Monday, October 28 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. The blood drive will take place in the Mollohan Campus Community Center third floor ballroom.
GSC to Host Third Annual Halloween Spooktacular
Glenville State College’s Student Government Association will be hosting a free Halloween Spooktacular event on Thursday, October 31 for local children and families. The events will start at 5:00 p.m. on Clark Hall Lawn at GSC. In the event of inclement weather, the events will take place in the Mollohan Campus Community Center Ballroom.
Fall Open House Planned at GSC
Future Glenville State College Pioneers are invited to campus to attend the upcoming Fall Open House on Saturday, November 2.
Glenville State and Marshall University Partner to Offer Professional Degree
Glenville State College has partnered with Marshall University to offer students a program of study leading to a Professional Master of Science in Athletic Training (PMSAT) degree. The agreement combines an undergraduate course of study at Glenville State with students later being accepted into the College of Health Professions at Marshall University.
